Configure IRC and XDCC downloads
Add the networks and channels you are authorised to use, then search indexed announcements or create a watch.
1. Add a network
Enter the server, port, TLS setting and a clear name. Authentication details for NickServ or SASL belong in the local client settings where required.
2. Add a channel
Subscribe to the channel that carries relevant announcements. Indexing continues only while at least one user subscription requires the channel.
3. Search or create a watch
Use the IRC indexer provider to search your configured sources. Filter by network or channel only when the same filename may appear in several places.
4. Request a pack
The selected bot and package number are passed to your client. The client joins the required channels and performs the transfer.
Keep credentials private
Never include IRC passwords, SASL secrets, pairing codes or complete unredacted logs in a support request.
