Automatically download episodes from a media library
Create a watch that can find available episodes now and continue checking for future ones.
Before you start
Connect an online client and confirm that the programme is exposed by the selected provider. Availability, rights windows and formats are controlled by the external source.
Create the watch
- Open Watches and choose Create watch.
- Select the media-library provider.
- Enter the programme title exactly enough to avoid unrelated matches.
- Add exclusions, quality or pre-release options only where needed.
- Use the preview before saving.
Prepare future episodes
Use a counter if the episode title contains a predictable number. A pattern such as Example S02E{counter} can continue through later episodes.
A missing future episode is shown as not available yet, not as a technical download failure.
Check the first results
Review the watch history and job list after the first run. If unrelated matches appear, narrow the title or add exclusions rather than relying on a very broad term.
