Download paths and filename templates
Paths are interpreted by the client on the device where the download runs.
Base folder
Set a base download directory that exists on the client device and is writable by the user running the client service.
Optional subfolders
Use relative subfolders to organise content below the base directory. Avoid absolute paths in fields intended to be relative and do not use parent-directory segments.
Filename templates
Use only documented placeholders. Keep a sensible file extension and avoid characters that are invalid on the target operating system.
Test with a harmless download
Before creating many watches, run one manual download and confirm the final folder, filename and service permissions.
